Akei with PinoyG4M and Pelikula Tumblr will screen notable Philippine LGBT films, including two by National Artist for Film Lino Brocka, as an independent contribution to National Arts Month this February 2012. All screenings are free and open to the public.

How has the bakla, the Filipino male homosexual identity, evolved in Philippine society? In two films, we discover how National Artist for Film Lino Brocka explores and exposes the bakla, touching on class, effeminacy and the closet.

Screenings at 2pm and 5pm.

The UPFI Film Center Videotheque is in the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City.
