Next stop is Feb. 18 at UP Film Institute Videotheque featuring films from National Artist for Film Lino Brocka.

How has the bakla, the Filipino male homosexual identity, evolved in Philippine society? In two films, we discover how National Artist for Film Lino Brocka explores and exposes the bakla, touching on class, effeminacy and the closet.

Featured films were Tubog sa Ginto  and Ang Tatay Kong Nanay. Wala akong masyadong kuwento... dahil absent ako nito. I had to attend to an invite from some people from the office. :[

This is also the weekend I got my big smile back!
