How Do You Keep The Music Playing?

Don't Like Your Job? Change It (Without Quitting) by Amy Gallo Sometimes you know your job just isn't right for you. Maybe you're in the wrong field, don't enjoy the work, feel surrounded by untrustworthy coworkers, or have an incompetent boss. Most people would tell you to find something that's a better fit. But that may not be possible. There are many reasons you may not be able to leave: a tough economy, family commitments, or limited opportunities in your field. So what do you do when you're stuck in the wrong job? What the Experts Say According to Gretchen Spreitzer, professor of management and organizations at University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and coauthor of "Creating Sustainable Performance," people are highly dissatisfied when their job has no meaning or purpose to them, provides little opportunity to learn, or leaves them depleted at the end of the work day. Whatever the reason you are unhapp...

Happy Pride 2012

Image
I get sick of listening to straight people complain about, "Well, hey, we don't have a heterosexual-pride day, why do you need a gay-pride day?" I remember when I was a kid I'd always ask my mom: "Why don't we have a Kid's Day? We have a Mother's Day and a Father's Day, but why don't we have a Kid's Day?" My mom would always say, "Every day is Kid's Day." To all those heterosexuals that bitch about gay pride, I say the same thing: Every day is heterosexual-pride day! Can't you people enjoy your banquet and not piss on those of us enjoying our crumbs over here in the corner? -Rob Nash

How Far Does One's Evil Forth?

The Ex had infidelity issues. During the time it was not a matter for him. 'Twas inconsequential to the relationship,he thought. Infidelity was, at a point, inevitable in a shared life. He had his mind set on the goal. Blessed are those immune to such.

What is the Value of X?

There are some people who come for me for advice. Legend: X = si friend Y = friend 1 ni X Z = friend 2 ni X X and Z have known each other for years. This frienship involved some sexual benefits along the way. Z tags along Y to hang out in X's place one Sunday night. Inevitably, there were "group activities" involved till Monday night. They had fun and planned another meet up at X's place after a fortnight. Y and Z decide to get into a relationship. Out of respect, they tell this to X. Now, X is half hearted to go with the plan of hanging out with them on the scheduled weekend. He fears that he'd just feel le...

Verge of the Point of No Return... AGAIN

I've accepted the fact that I have a queer attraction to drama. Probably I perceive it as a break away from my mostly monotonous life. Sadly this backfires to something that gets out of control. It is a constant struggle to maintain an equilibrium.  After playing around with fire and ice for years, you realize the combination that can render you useless. There are also elements from the past who will be an influence to your present and future. You build great walls and gates, watchtowers of stone and steel, yet in the end you simply go back  to where you've begun.

No cover charge, no tickets. Just buy your dinner and drinks. The event will not be exclusive to PG4M members, so feel free to invite friends and loved ones with you. Chef's Bistro is at Scout Gandia near the corner of Tomas Morato, QC. To commute: get off at Kamuning/Kamias Road and take a jeep to Pantranco or Quiapo. When you reach Tomas Morato, get off at Metrobank or Citibank. Enter the street next to Citibank (that's Scout Gandia); Chef's Bistro is about 50 meters away.
