Vanilla Pleasures

For the third anniversary of PinoyG4M, we're inviting everyone to a movie night at Chef's Bistro. We will be screening a special movie (let's keep it a surprise for now) on Saturday, March 31 at 8pm. No cover charge, no tickets. Just buy your dinner and drinks. The event will not be exclusive to PG4M members, so feel free to invite friends and loved ones with you. Chef's Bistro is at Scout Gandia near the corner of Tomas Morato, QC. To commute: get off at Kamuning/Kamias Road and take a jeep to Pantranco or Quiapo. When you reach Tomas Morato, get off at Metrobank or Citibank. Enter the street next to Citibank (that's Scout Gandia); Chef's Bistro is about 50 meters away. Hagas. Ako’y nahahapo sa pagkaubos ng Ingles na ginamit sa mga nakaraang post. Kaya’t heto transition muna. So I took a leave for Sine Bahaghari screening ng Friday, Feb 24. And I’m thankful I did.

Kabit Kasalanan bang maituturing kung ikay' naging pabaya? Kasalanan bang ipinanganak akong maganda? Dinagit ng pagnanasa ang kanyang mga mata sa panahong binabalot ang puso ng lumbay. Pumintig. Umibabaw. Sumirit. Bahala na.  *** Mga Ligaw na Kaluluwa Aswang ka ba? Dahil 'di ko nakikita ang aking repleksyon sa iyong mga mata. Pumanaw na yata ang iyong diwa. May lamig pa rin akong nadarama kahit na ako'y kasama. Mga ngiting huwad. Mga sayang pangibabaw. Ang mga luha bang iya'y para sa akin talaga? We headed back to Chef's Bistro last Feb.19 for the re-screening of Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa . We still encountered some technical faults but it mostly went well.

Next stop is Feb. 18 at UP Film Institute Videotheque featuring films from National Artist for Film Lino Brocka.

It's been some time since I've updated. My apologies to my avid readers. Oh diva, feelingera lang . But I've been busy with our film screenings last month and work, of course.
